DANA BLACK

 

Dana Black is a founding partner of ALTernate Thinking, LLC, an organization that provides consulting services to both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Services include, but are not limited to, board development, program evaluation, donor consulting, leadership development, and strategic planning.

Ms. Black earned her master of arts degree in nonprofit leadership management from the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) and a bachelor of science in Public Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Black worked for various for-profit organizations in direct mail marketing and analysis.

Currently, she serves as an advisory board member for the Institute for Nonprofit Education and Research and as a board member for Mama’s Kitchen. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Escondido, and an active advocate and supporter for Montessori education.
